What are the technical requirements?
The process is very simple, and there are very few technical requirements. You must have a computer connected to the Internet. A high-speed connection, such as cable or DSL, is preferable but not required. Both Windows and Macintosh computer platforms are supported. Using a web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator or Safari; you will go to the seminar website to view the presentation.

What are my options for audio?
Typically, audio is webcast, meaning it is broadcast through the web and is audible through your computer's speakers. In some cases, you may be provided a toll-free number you can dial to receive the audio portion via operator-assisted telephone connection. With this method, you have access to an operator during the presentation for assistance. But note that this requires a separate telephone line, if your computer is connected to the Internet through phone modem.

How do I register?
Download a registration form, and fax the completed form to Headquarters at 847-236-9968. As soon as your registration has been received and processed, you will be sent a confirmation email with instructions on how to attend the event. If you do not receive this confirmation, contact Heaquarters.

What do I get for my purchase?
The registration fee provides you with the web link needed to get to the seminar website on the day of the event. You also receive a toll-free telephone number to listen to the presentation via operator-assisted phone connection. A few days after the event, another web link will be emailed to you. This link will give you access to a streaming video recording of the entire seminar, so you may watch it again later. The link may also provide additional materials that the presenter has provided for download.

How many people can participate from my firm?
Depending upon the type of seminar, each registration and payment provides a connection for either one individual or for one computer. This will be explained in the registration information for the seminar. If registration is per computer (single IP address), as many people can participate using the single computer connection as is practical for you, but additional computers or IP addresses require separate registrations.

Do I have to pay by credit card?
Although paying by credit card transaction is the quickest and easiest way to purchase your web seminar registration,Headquarters also accepts payment by check. Please contact us at 1-800-323-4219 for more information. Note that you will receive instructions to attend only after your check has been received, so please allow five days for mail, if you plan to attend the live event.

What if I am busy the day or time of the web seminar?
If you know you will be unable to participate in the live seminar, or if something comes up unexpectedly, we encourage you to still register, so you can receive the link to the recording of the event. This means you can watch the seminar at a time that is more convenient for you. The recording will give you the very same experience as the live seminar, except that you will not be able to ask real-time questions of the presenter.

What do I do on the day of the event?
You will use the web link provided to go to the seminar website. It's a good idea to go there a few minutes before the seminar start time, so you can be sure you are properly connected and ready to participate.

You will view the seminar using a light version of the Raindance Seminar Edition software, which is browser-based, so no software download is required. A full version of the software is available for download and installation, but is required only for presenters. Participants of web seminars conducted by Selected Resources do not normally need the full version.

You will be prompted to join the audio portion of the seminar. You may choose WEBCAST to listen through your computer speakers, or type in your telephone number to have the system call you back on an available phone line. Note that this method only works for direct lines; extension numbers are not currently supported. Or, you can decline on the online prompts and simply dial the toll-free number provided. After you enter your conference ID number, you'll join the seminar audio.

What if I have trouble connecting?
Raindance Communications provides support for technical issues at all times, before and during our web seminars. Simply contact technical support at 1-888-966-8686 or online at http://www.raindance.com/rndc/support/techSupport.jsp.

What will I see and hear during a web seminar?
On your computer, you will see a slide presentation, similar to a PowerPoint® presentation, delivered live by the presenter. You will hear the presenter through your computer speakers.

How do I ask questions during the presentation?
You can type your questions and send them using the Question and Answer feature of the Raindance Seminar Edition software. You also may call Headquarters at 1-800-323-4219 and give your questions to an operator. All questions will be held for the designated question and answer period where the presenter will respond to the questions that participants have provided.

Can I view a recording of a seminar afterward?
Yes, your registration provides you with a link to streaming video recording of the entire seminar. This is useful if you want to review the seminar or allow others on your staff to view it. This link will be emailed to all registered participants a few days after the event.
