The Chapel Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of funeral business. Critical to the success of this company and operations are flawless execution standards combined with a thorough understanding of our unique demographics and clientele. Chapel Manager will be expected to direct and lead all personnel and ensure that the facility and equipment are maintained to a high degree readiness. This is a salary exempt position.


  • 8–10 years of experience
  • Certification/Licensure is strongly preferred
  • Previous Funeral Home Management experience is essential with at least 2–3 years of experience required.

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following.

  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Responsible for scheduling staff, training, development of other managers and staff
  • Work alongside the leadership team
  • Develop relationship with HR. CFO, Marketing and Operations team
  • To be a good mentor and leader
  • Responsible for implementing company policies
  • Responsible for quarterly reviews
  • Responsible for market share growth
  • Knowledge of market environment and competitive pricing
  • Community involvement
  • Support Pre-Need Sales
