Building a Lasting Legacy with the Trust’s Second-Career Scholarship

For 16 years, the Selected Educational Trust has invested in adults pursuing a new career in funeral service, awarding $100,000 in scholarships to 70 students. These individuals bring a wealth of professional and personal experience to their studies, choosing to take a new direction in life to serve families during some of their most difficult moments.

Now, the Trust is launching A Lasting Legacy, a fundraising campaign with an ambitious goal: to raise $100,000 to fully endow the Second-Career Scholarship Program and help ensure its future for generations to come. By fully endowing the program, the Trust can establish a lasting foundation for these opportunities, helping future students pursue their education and answer the call to serve families.

With generous support already pledged by numerous donors during Selected’s Annual Meeting in Louisville, the Trust is almost halfway to this goal and inviting donors to join in securing the future of this cornerstone program.
