New Free Career Development Course Supports Future Funeral Service Professionals

Finding and developing qualified talent remains one of the most significant challenges facing independent funeral homes today. To help strengthen the pipeline of future funeral service professionals, the Selected Educational Trust has launched Preparing for a Job Interview, a free online course designed specifically for mortuary science students, recent graduates, apprentices, and early-career professionals.

The Trust is grateful to Certified Safety Training for generously partnering to host the course on its learning platform at no cost to learners. Their support allows the Trust to make this resource available free of charge to individuals entering the profession, helping remove barriers to career development while supporting the workforce needs of independent funeral homes.
